Partner l Designer
Christy is a founding partner and designer with Echelon Design. She is an integral part of the team specializing in web design, multimedia and marketing. She is also well versed in all elements of print design and has a thorough knowledge of the leading software applications and Macintosh Computers that are used in the design process.
Prior to forming Echelon Design, Christy was the founding partner of All-Star Racing, a Sports Marketing Team which managed several of the top Professional Women’s Cycling Teams, including Olympians, National Champions and World Champions. Christy was responsible for overseeing the team and staff and presenting the team to major corporations as a unique marketing tool through sponsorship of the team. She raised over $1,000,000 in sponsorship donations and facilitated promotions with clients, including Chevrolet, Ralphs, Gillette, Reebok, Bausch and Lomb, Klein Bicycles and SC Johnson. Christy was also a key member in designing the teams corporate identity, clothing, promotional materials, vehicle graphics and bike graphics. In addition, Christy competed nationally and internationally as a professional cyclist for 13 years, retiring in 2000.
Christy graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA with a BS in Business Management / Marketing. She also studied Computer Science emphasizing programming at the University of Alaska and University of Hawaii. Additionally, she studied Computer Graphics and Web Design at Chaffey College.
Frank Sarate
Partner l Designer
Frank is a founding partner and the Creative Director with Echelon Design. Frank is the creative force behind Echelon Design establishing the direction of the project and how it will look and feel. He likes to push the envelope and be challenged in the design process, which produces quality design work that is innovative and unique. Frank is knowledgeable in all elements of print design and multimedia production and is well versed in the leading software applications for design and Macintosh Computers and PC’s. Additionally, Frank gained valuable experience as a designer at HMC Architects working under tight deadlines producing ad layouts, brochures, architectural graphics, proposal layouts and other print materials.
Prior to forming Echelon Design, Frank was a partner of All-Star Racing. Frank was the Team Director overseeing the athletes and staff. Frank’s tactical knowledge and organizational skills led Team Klein to 2 stage wins, 11 podium appearances and finished Best North American Team at the 1997 HP International Stage Race. Frank was also instrumental in designing the teams corporate identity, vehicle graphics, bike graphics, clothing and promotional materials. Additionally, he has competed professionally in BMX, road cycling and as a semi-pro on the mountain bike.
Frank studied Computer Graphics and Two Dimensional Art Design at Chaffey College.
